Partially Completed

Digital Craft

Made in collaboration with ‘The Laboratory of Computational Archeology’ at the Hebrew University.

this project explores the intersection of ancient pottery and modern technology. Using a 3D scan of an ancient pottery fragment as a design trigger, I reinterpreted it digitally rather than restoring it faithfully. By manipulating the scanned data, I continued the work of an anonymous potter, blending past craftsmanship with today’s technological tools. The result is a new vessel that carries a piece of history, where the original potter's fingerprint remains embedded in the design.
